Robert joined the firm at the beginning of 2015. He comes to Diamond and Diamond with a wealth of experience, having spent over 20 years at one of Toronto’s most well established Personal Injury boutique firms.
Since being called to the Bar in 1993, Robert has spent virtually all of his career representing victims of serious trauma in all manners of Personal injury disputes. He has significant experience handling the claims of catastrophically injured clients including accident victims who have sustained traumatic brain injuries and spinal cord injuries. Robert represents clients in first and third party motor vehicle actions, occupiers’ Liability cases, Product Liability actions and private disability insurance claims.
He has extensive court experience having argued various motions on novel points of law, engaged in Appellate work at the Court of Appeal and acted as counsel or co-counsel on numerous trials. He has been asked to speak on various topics at Continuing Education Conferences, and is well respected by his peers in the Personal Injury Bar.
Robert prides himself on being personally involved in all aspects of his files in order to provide his clients with the service and attention they require. He is goal oriented, and practices with a big picture approach which ensures that his clients’ matters are brought to resolution efficiently and properly, often with results far exceeding their expectations.
