Get to know more about Michael Blois
Michael was born in London, Ontario and grow up in Exeter. At the age of 17 Michael joined the Canadian Armed Forces. He served for 11 years in the Royal Canadian Regiment completing 3 tours of duty overseas: one to Bosnia and two to Afghanistan. Unfortunately, Michael was wounded on his last tour in Afghanistan. His injuries forced him to leave the military. It was due to his departure from the military that he attended Law School, graduating in 2014 from Osgoode Hall. Upon being called to the Bar, Michael began working at Diamond and Diamond. Michael made partner in 2020. His practice takes him across the province, but he primarily represents clients in the Barrie area. Michael has appeared before every level of Ontario Court, including the Ontario Court of Appeal. Michael focuses his work on personal injury claims, including motor vehicle accidents, slip and falls, and assault victims. Michael's practice also includes class actions involving military veterans. Michael founded an association for Afghanistan veterans and is currently a member of the board with Barrie Minor Hockey. Michael enjoys spending time with his family & friends and is often seen in attendance at Barrie Colts games.
